man, have i been a badass for not checking in more often. i wonder if everyone on my watch list has given up on this little corner of da.
[ a lone tumbleweed tumbles across the screen...]
...yeah.
the working world is one mean bitch, holding my time on ransom. i haven't really drawn anything since... oh my goodness - it must have been november. i got a pretty nasty lecture from a certain someone for not even caring enough to attempt to make art. which made me cry because it wasn't true. i'd like to, but in addition to time constraints, inspiration just hasn't come around. it must have been hibernating all this time. although last week, i did muster enough creativity to make a shamrock card with interlocking clover-leaf flaps (an unconventional card) for that same someone who berated me. i'm too forgiving.
to make matters worse, my digicam broke. something must have broken with the shutter mechanism, because i can't take pictures, although the rest of the camera is okie-dokie. that'll cost me a pretty penny to fix.
speaking of cameras, in effort to make up for my absence: a little gift to anyone who bothers to visit this tenaciously-surviving site: check out
www.ofoto.com
it's actually kodak's photo-hosting site, where you can upload pictures from your computer and order prints online instead of taking your film or memory card all the way to wherever it is you develop your photos. if you sign up before march 31, you get 10 - ten! - 4x6 inch photos for free! that's a savings of - hold your breath - $2.50. lol. you do have to pay shipping and a little tax, but if you order exactly 10 photos, the whole thing should cost less than $2.00 total, and you don't even have to get your butt out of the house, or even away from the computer for that matter.
so take advantage of this knowledge and get some of those years-old image files processed already (as i did.)
lots of

to whoever still visits here. i hope to one day wow you again with some art... thanks for being so patient!
